MetroWest J-Serve: Bring Jewish Learning to Life

The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life provides a variety of volunteer opportunities in MetroWest, NJ.  Choose your top 3 projects and register to participate in this national initiative.  Join with teens around the world and make a difference!

1. Pedals for Progress Bike Drive-help disassemble and prepare bikes to be shipped to third world countries.-This project is filled!

2. Cat Socializing: visit a local animal shelter and help cats become accustomed to humans.  This will help them get adopted.-This project is filled!

3. Brighten up a Senior’s Day: Decorate flower pots and plant flowers with Seniors.-Only 2 spots left!

4. Team Sports: male teens will play baseball and volleyball with male adult residents at the Cerebral Palsy Group Home.-This project is filled!

5. Stand Up & Be Counted: Participate in this workshop and learn how you can make a difference.

6.Take a trip down memory lane: Share your experience about your recent trip to Israel (* Please note: This project is only open to the 2008 Diller Teen Fellows).

7. Intergenerational Karaoke Cafe (Please note: This project is only open to the Iris Teen Tzedakah Participants).

8. Plant flowers at a local Senior Center.-This project is filled!

9. Prepare toiletry kits for the homeless.-This project is filled!

10. Cook with Seniors-This project is filled.

Don’t forget to bring toiletries, winter coats, baby supplies and your used bikes to J-Serve!!!
